Thank you so much to everyone who came to our program on Friday.
The children did such a great job!
We've had a great week preparing for our Grandparents program.
We worked on the letters Hh and Dd and the sounds they make.
We hope everyone enjoyed their portraits. We worked on them for three days.
Next week our unit will be Community Helpers. Several parents have signed up to come speak to the children about their jobs but we have lots of times still available. The invitation is also open to grandparents. :-)
We will be participating in Junior K's Pennies for Pets drive. Please send in your loose pennies with the children. The proceeds will be donated to an animal rescue center.
Next week in Math we will begin working on writing the numbers 1-5. Our letters next week will be Cc and short a. Now that we have a vowel we will being making words with all of the letters we've learned.

Next week's Cooking Show will be a "Bob the Builder House" sandwich. We will need bread, peanut butter, and jelly.
