We made these nifty police hats today and proceeded to arrest everyone at the tree house.  First grade were good sports!

Thank you to everyone who came to our sweet little program.  The children warmed up halfway through the first song and did so well!!  We appreciate our Grands!

A Peek At This Week

Aren't we the cutest kindergarten class!?

Every Friday we take a "test".

We painted these lovely apple trees.  They took three days!!

We also printed with our apples.

And made these cute apple cores.

These "stained glass" apples are always fun.

At our Apple Tasting Party, we had apple muffins, apple pie, apple cookies, apple butter, and apple juice.
Meredith's little brother, Liam, isn't too sure what's going on.

We all had nice manners!  :-)

Share Your Talent!

Griffy and Alex both selected "Share Your Talent" certificates from the treasure book on Friday.

Griffy treated us to her fabulous gymnastics stunts.  Most of them were so fast, my pictures were blurry.

She did cartwheels, round-offs, hand stands, forward rolls, and tow touches!!

Alex started by dancing then did a fantastic Spider-Man routine.

He asked for a volunteer to pretend to be the bad guy.

Fun!!

Surface Safari

We headed outside armed with clipboards, markers, and our cars.  First we tested them on dry sand.

Next we tested the cars on wet sand.  We had to make wet sand since it's been soooooo dry.

Next we tried them on tile.

Tile was the winner for best surface!

Then we tried the sidewalk.

The grass was a little to lumpy for our wheels.

Lastly we tried the table.....another winner.
