Happy Veterans Day from Senior K!

We drew these adorable soldiers on Monday.

On Friday the students in grades K and up sang "Grand Ole Flag" at Assembly.

We tried our fourth STEM Challenge, make a free standing flagpole out of straws and paper clips.

It wasn't easy.

We persevered!

Our new Sight Word game.  Sight words are written on the bottom of each soldier and the students play "Memory"  to make matches.

We spent the whole week talking about Veterans and their service.  We appreciate all the sacrifices made by the Veterans in our lives and in our Country.
