A Visit From the Oxford Fire Department

Officer William and Jack raced to see who could get dressed first in their fire gear. Jack did his best but Officer William showed us how fire fighters can get dressed in less than 90 seconds.

We waited on the bench while Pre-K finished up their turn with the fire truck.

This cat distracted everyone from the fire truck, but we decided he must have heard about our Pet Show and come to check us out. ;-)

We were great listeners as the fire fighters explained things on the truck. One of their goals is to try to prevent small children from being afraid of fire fighters and hiding from them during a fire.

This is the $10,000 Heat Vision Camera that we all got to look through. Very cool!!

Then we backed way up so they could test the sirens.
