Our Chickens Are Ready for the Farm!

We've had had so much fun watching our chicks grow up.

The children loved holding them.

It was easier to tell James and Hot Chick apart when they were first born.

As they grew, the chicks looked more and more alike.

Jayde's first time to hold a chick.

James in the front and Hot Chick in the back.  You can see how they are getting their grown-up feathers.

This is James' backside.  ;-)

We will miss them, but the experience was priceless!

Mystery Animals

I wait all year for this!  The children are now able to write sentences and read their sentences.  We wrote clues about a mystery animals then read them to all the other classes in our building.
It was fun to see even the shyest of children proudly read their clues to older students.
Our first stop was Fifth Grade.
I divided the children into two groups, red and blue, to make the process a little shorter.

Our next stop was Second Grade.

Next up was Fourth Grade.  Mrs. Cindy is always great to play along!

Then we went to First Grade.

Our last stop was Third Grade.
