Merry Christmas!

The children did such a great job on Friday performing in the "ABC's of Christmas". Thanks so much to everyone for attending, helping with costumes and the stage, and sending items for our party. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas break and I look forward to all we can learn in the new year!!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas....

Here's our beautiful tree we put up on Friday. The children were amazed at all of the ornaments I have collected over the years. It was fun telling them where they all came from. And they love the animated angel too!
Here, Jackson and Sharp are pointing out "Jingle", our Elf on the Shelf who magically appeared on Monday straight from the North Pole. Jingle watches over the children during the day and reports to Santa at night. When he comes back he's always in a new location around the room. Locating him has become our new Sr. K sport. :-)

Chance, Saylie Parker, Lyla and Mary show off our cute reindeer.

Anna, Will, Emory, and Jack pose here with our nesting Santas.

Happy Veteran's Day!

We were so excited to perform for the Veteran's Day Program today. The children know that the song we sang is special and usually gives their teacher goose bumps when they sing it well. Here we are waiting for the assembly to begin.

We sang so beautifully! "God Bless the U.S.A."

We enjoyed looking at Mr. Ralph's memorabilia and we all had to try on his grandfather's steel helmet from World War I.

Thank you to all of our veterans!!

Fiddlin' Rooster Farm

Cow Cars were a real hit!
We used the butter we made on little corn muffins.

Whoosh!

Waiting to go in.

Making butter took a long time!

Cow Cars again.

We picked the seeds out of cotton and then used the cotton to make "living necklaces".

We ALL tried our faces in here. :-)

Aren't we cute?

Notice the flying corn in the background.
