In the afternoon, after quiet time, we do a Math lesson. The children complete their class work at their own pace and then move on to Math Tubs to practice and reinforce the skills we've learned.
Each student is assigned a Math Tub Partner for about two weeks. Each day they are assigned a new Math Tub to complete.
Yosef and Wyatt are sewing numbers.
Maddie and Ridge are working with pattern blocks.
It takes precision!
Maddie's beautiful butterfly.
Jackson and Anabelle are sorting the "collectibles"-- a name created by a past Sr. K Class that just stuck.
Efe and Graeme are playing the "Tweezer Game". The object is to race against a partner to collect all of your colored pieces with tweezers.
Farrah and Preston are playing with the Ten Frame Train.
\Math Tubs are lots of fun!
