Merry Christmas!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the year so special for these sweet little folks!  I am so very thankful that you share them with me.  They bring me joy and keep me on my toes!

Happy Birthday, Zaila!

Christmas Party Fun!

We kicked off our party with a Reindeer Nose Relay.  The children dipped their noses into Vaseline then used that to pick up a red pom pom.

They were super cute with reindeer noses!

The girls raced the boys to see who could get their nose onto the Rudolph poster the fastest.

Zaila's nose took a nose-dive!

Efe looks calm, cool, and collected!

STEM Challenge - Can You Make a Reindeer that Can Fly?

We began construction on our reindeer by attaching antlers and legs made of pipe cleaners.

We twisted them on.

We added bottle cap noses and feet to give our reindeer more weight.

Then we set about trying to get them to fly.

It didn't take long for us to discover that the reindeer needed to start from a higher spot to get it to fly.

Incline was the word of the day.

So much fun!

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

We decorated our Christmas Tree this week and were excited by the arrival of our Elf on the Shelf, who we have named "Candy Cane".
