Egg Drop Fun!

We're all ready for the Egg Drop!

Caleb went first.

Conner's egg survived the fall.

Drew's container was a cool mix of bubble wrap and duct tape.

Aliyah's was the stickiest egg.  It was wrapped in peanut butter and bubble wrap!

The Egg Drop was a lot of fun!  Thank you so much to all the parents who came and also to everyone for helping to construct such creative packages!

Sharing Our Mystery Animals

We wrote clues to mystery animals on Tuesday.  The children loved doing them so much, they asked to do it again!  So Wednesday, we visited almost everyone in the school and read our clues to them.  It was so much fun having others guess our animals. We received so many compliments!

Next we squeezed into Mrs. Ames' office.  She had no trouble guessing all of our animals correctly.

After lunch, we read our clues to Pre K, right before their nap.  Pre K did a great job guessing our animals.

Then we visited Second Grade.

Jr K stopped by on their way back from recess.  They were great animal detectives!

We're Hatching!!

21 Days after we placed them in the incubator, they finally started to hatch.

This little guy, Goldie, was strong from the start.

Yay!  I'm out!

Here he is later, after his feathers had dried.

This little one hatched after the children left for the day.

We LOVE watching them.
