Sweet Trees!

After visiting the Gingerbread Village at the Ford Center last week, the children were inspired to make these sweet Christmas trees. Thank you to everyone who sent in items for our concoctions. ;)

A Hibachi Grill in Senior K!?

The children turned our Home Living area into a Hibachi Grill complete with chopping, flipping, and a rolling cart asking if anyone would like vegetables. It was noisy but too much fun to stop. ;)

What a Sweet Class!

Gingerbread Village at the Ford Center

I asked each student to stand in front of their favorite gingerbread house.
There were some very intricate designs.
Jon Reese is standing in front of the house designed by Holli's Sweet Tooth.
Wyatt liked the barn in this one.
Tanner thought it was cool that the dog's name was Max.

Q-Tip Shooters!

As a way to wrap up our unit on Native Americans, we made these fun little bows and arrows today.

They are a little tricky, but actually shoot up to 20 feet!

They decorated the bows with Native American picture writing.

Ready, Aim, Fire!

Fun!

All Of Us Turkeys Are On Strike!

The children are all set to take the stage in the title roll of our annual Thanksgiving play, "The Turkeys Go On Strike".

Parents, thank you for sharing your little ones with me, I am so thankful for their curiosity, eagerness, and energy!
They make me smile everyday!
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

This Week in Senior K

The Wedding of Q and U.

This fun little activity helps the children remember that Q and U always go together in words.

Aubree got lots of action as our one and only bride.
The boys' bow ties are stamped with quarters and Aubree's veil is stamped with umbrellas.

Colton doesn't look too sure.  ;-)

Tanner worried about this for a long long time, but in the end, he thought it was fun!

Happy Veterans Day from Sr. K!
The red poppies are in remembrance of those veterans who gave their lives for our country.

Here we are singing, "God Bless the USA" with First Grade during our Veterans Program.

We rode the Double Decker Bus to the Veterans Home.

Here we are singing for the Veterans.

Riding the bus back to OUS.
