| Closing out Transportation week, we went on a fun Surface Safari to test our vehicles on lots of different surfaces around the school. |

| In the classroom, we tested tile and a rug then headed outside to test the sidewalk. |

| Each student marked happy, so-so, or sad for each surface in their little book. |
 |
| Sometimes one test wasn't enough. |
 |

| Next we tried the grass. |
 |
| Then we headed down the big kid's hallway to the playground. |
 |
| The booklet said to test wet and ry sand, but all we could find was dry sand. |
 |
| There is a page at the back of the book where the student has to chose the last surface and well, what better surface than our giant slide?! |
