Wildlife at OUS!

We had a wonderful visit from a Mississippi Department of Wildlife Outreach representative today. She talked to the children about animals in Mississippi, how to identify an animal by its skin or skull, the difference between horns and antlers, the difference between aquatic and land turtles, the difference between alligators and crocodiles, and the piece de resistance: she let us touch a REAL LIVE alligator!! It was neat and very educational!!

Even the van was cool!

Mac- I liked the alligator!
Max- The bear skin was cool!
Aubree- She told us about a two-headed snake.
Tanner- The coyote skin was neat.
Conner- I like the turtle with knobs on its back.
Jon Reese - I liked the alligator.
Wyatt- I liked the deer.
Colton - I liked what she told us about the buck.
