A Peek At This Week

We made a race track for our cars.

Then we added blocks.

Colton brought ten pounds of cars!

To prepare for our "Surface Safari", the children had to draw their cars .

Below the illustration are the pages where we recorded our data.

First up: the sidewalk.

Next, wet sand.

Followed by grass.

Tile

Dry sand.

Carpet.

The porch.

Completing our books.

As a culminating activity to our Transportation Unit, we made Edible Traffic Lights.
Spread icing on graham crackers.

The icing acts like glue to hold the "lights".

Stick in M &M's.

Colton's finished product.

Red means stop,
Green means go.
Yellow means wait,
Even if you're late!

Yum!
